Newsletter October 2011
Greetings!
I was in Tanzania this summer and often heard the words “Hakuna Matada” which means “no worries”. I decided that Hakuna Matada was a great motto for the Vital Records Portavault, because those who embrace our product and make it part of their lives eliminate the worry about how and where important documents are stored.
Hearing the words Hakuna Matada also reminds me of the Lion King movie and song, I hope you take a few minutes to sit back and listen - this is sure to bring a smile to your face

| NO WORRIES – TIPS WHEN TRAVELING |
Traveling Tips
- Clean out your wallet and/or your purse. Don’t take anything with you that you won’t need.
- Make a photocopy of your driver’s license, passport, credit cards and travelers check numbers as well as your itinerary. Give a copy of the list to a family member or friend for safe keeping, in addition to keeping a copy with you (but not in your checked luggage)
- Place a piece of paper with your name and itinerary in each checked bag. This make identification easier if a baggage tag is lost or a bag is misdirected.
- Make sure you have enough prescription medications to last your entire trip and be sure to pack your health history cards (form from the portavault).
Property Tips while Traveling
- Stop mail and newspaper delivery or have a neighbor collect them daily.
- Leave drapes, shades and blinds in their normal positions.
- Put at least two lights and a radio on automatic timer
- Have someone leave your trash bins on the curb on trash collection day.
- Have a neighbor or friend park a car in your driveway occasionally.
- Leave a key with a trusted neighbor in case of emergency.
- Lock all windows and doors before you go.
- Never leave messages on you voice-mail saying you will be gone for any specified periods of time.
- Tell your family or a trusted friend the location of your portavault – just in case they need to access any of the information it contains.
